With 44 years of experience as a Deputy Sheriff, she currently serves in the Dallas Sheriff Posse, riding on mounted horseback. Her passion for justice doesn't stop there. Susan is also a Private Investigator who has dedicated herself to rescuing victims of human trafficking and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are incarcerated. In her book, "She's A County Mountie," Susan shares riveting and heart-pounding stories of her time as a cop. Her tactical advice and strategies for navigating the battlefield of everyday life are both practical and empowering. Her unique perspective on life and her unwavering commitment to justice and faith make her an ideal advocate to speak on these topics. She attended Dallas Baptist University, currently serves as a Captain in the Dallas County Sheriff’s Posse, holding a Master Peace Officer’s license, and is on mounted horseback as well as ATV. She is a songwriter and musician who plays the piano, guitar, and trumpet in the prisons and at First Baptist Church in Dallas.
