Miss Fuller Woman Queen 2025 on Confidence, Body Positivity, Leadership & Empowerment

Confidence is a catalyst for transformation.

In this empowering episode of Where Science Meets Self-Care, I am joined by two remarkable leaders from the Miss Fuller Woman Competition: Hannah Schulz (Miss Fuller Woman Queen 2025) and Holly Leman (MFWC Committee Member). This is far more than a pageant; it is a Canadian movement dedicated to body confidence, leadership, and personal growth. We dive into how this platform helps women challenge outdated beauty standards and step into their power with authenticity. We also explore the intersection of wellness, gut health, and self-encouragement—proving that when a woman feels good from the inside out, her voice becomes a force for change.

What We Explore Together:

The Movement: The mission and impact of the Miss Fuller Woman Competition on Canadian women.

Breaking Stereotypes: Hannah’s journey from Drumheller to Queen 2025 and her mission to empower youth.

The Science of Encouragement: Holly’s insights on how gut health and wellness align with self-love.

00:01:52 --> 00:01:55 grow through wellness, joy, and business ownership.
00:01:57 --> 00:02:00 Welcome, Queens. Let's talk confidence, leadership,
00:02:01 --> 00:02:04 self -love, and what it means to step into your
00:02:04 --> 00:02:10 power. Well, Hannah, first of all, congratulations
00:02:10 --> 00:02:16 to your winning. What made you join the Miss
00:02:16 --> 00:02:20 Fuller Woman competition and what stood out to
00:02:20 --> 00:02:24 you the most? I joined the Miss Fuller Woman
00:02:24 --> 00:02:27 competition because I'm the eldest of a lot of
00:02:27 --> 00:02:31 girls in my family. And I've kind of struggled
00:02:31 --> 00:02:34 with my body for my whole life. But it really
00:02:34 --> 00:02:39 made an impact when I started realizing my younger
00:02:39 --> 00:02:42 siblings also have issues with their bodies and
00:02:42 --> 00:02:44 it didn't matter what size they were. This was
00:02:44 --> 00:02:47 just something that girls were facing. And as
00:02:47 --> 00:02:50 the eldest sister, I really wanted to prove to
00:02:50 --> 00:02:53 my sisters that they could do anything. And even
00:02:53 --> 00:02:56 though this wasn't something that I'd ever thought
00:02:56 --> 00:02:59 I would do, ever thought that would be in my
00:02:59 --> 00:03:02 path in life, I wanted to prove that just because
00:03:02 --> 00:03:05 I was putting my mind to it, I could do it. So
00:03:05 --> 00:03:07 that's kind of why I joined in the first place.
00:03:08 --> 00:03:10 And thank you for your congratulations. I never
00:03:10 --> 00:03:13 thought I would win. I never joined the Miss
00:03:13 --> 00:03:16 Fuller Woman competition in the... even thinking
00:03:16 --> 00:03:20 that I would even get to win. Like, it was just
00:03:20 --> 00:03:23 something fun for me to do. And it was just a
00:03:23 --> 00:03:26 chance for me to prove that I could do it. Well,
00:03:26 --> 00:03:31 you know, you did it. What role do you hold today
00:03:31 --> 00:03:35 within the Miss Fuller Woman competition? And
00:03:35 --> 00:03:40 how has that shaped you personally? I'm the Miss
00:03:40 --> 00:03:45 Fuller Woman Queen 2025. Through that, I've gotten
00:03:45 --> 00:03:47 to hold the title for almost a year now, and
00:03:47 --> 00:03:50 it's crazy to think that that year is almost
00:03:50 --> 00:03:54 over. I have four more months before we get to
00:03:54 --> 00:03:56 crown the next queen, and I'm so excited for
00:03:56 --> 00:04:02 that. Yeah, I'm so excited for the Miss Fuller
00:04:02 --> 00:04:04 Woman competition. It's the first year it's been
00:04:04 --> 00:04:08 up here in Grand Prairie, and I'm so glad to
00:04:08 --> 00:04:11 hold a space in it now for many years to come.
00:04:12 --> 00:04:17 Yeah. What has been your biggest growth since
00:04:17 --> 00:04:20 joining emotionally, mentally or physically?
00:04:22 --> 00:04:24 My biggest growth has definitely been walking
00:04:24 --> 00:04:28 into a room like I own it. I was a very shy person
00:04:28 --> 00:04:30 before. You wouldn't have caught me dead talking
00:04:30 --> 00:04:33 to someone I did not know. I was not the kind
00:04:33 --> 00:04:35 of girl that would pick up the phone and call
00:04:35 --> 00:04:37 someone just willy nilly. I was the kind that
00:04:37 --> 00:04:40 like if you called me, I'd really consider answering
00:04:40 --> 00:04:42 your phone call. But normally I would decline
00:04:42 --> 00:04:45 it because I did not want to talk to you. Being
00:04:45 --> 00:04:48 the Miss Fuller Woman Queen has opened so many
00:04:48 --> 00:04:50 doors for me. It has taught me that I can hold
00:04:50 --> 00:04:53 my head high in a room. I don't need to be shy.
00:04:53 --> 00:04:56 Just holding space for myself and allowing me
00:04:56 --> 00:04:59 to do that is definitely one of the biggest lessons
00:04:59 --> 00:05:03 I've learned. When you walk into a room like
00:05:03 --> 00:05:06 no one can bother you, no one bothers you, which
00:05:06 --> 00:05:10 is kind of fun. Yeah. Well, it's all what you're
00:05:10 --> 00:05:13 thinking about yourself, right? You know, one
00:05:13 --> 00:05:16 person could say something and if you misinterpret
00:05:16 --> 00:05:19 it, then that ruins everything, right? But if
00:05:19 --> 00:05:22 you're thinking positive, you don't think that
00:05:22 --> 00:05:29 way, right? Yeah, 100%. Yeah. Well, great. I'm
00:05:29 --> 00:05:32 glad that you got that from it. I know it was
00:05:32 --> 00:05:35 quite a learning experience with everything that
00:05:35 --> 00:05:37 they offer in the competition, right? They give
00:05:37 --> 00:05:42 you different... duties to perform and and there's
00:05:42 --> 00:05:44 practice sessions on different things so you
00:05:44 --> 00:05:48 grow from all those experiences right a hundred
00:05:48 --> 00:05:51 percent like i i was not i'm a tall girl so i
00:05:51 --> 00:05:54 never felt a need to wear heels i never i was
00:05:54 --> 00:05:56 like i'm tall enough i don't need to wear heels
00:05:56 --> 00:06:00 um but something about wearing heels and just
00:06:00 --> 00:06:04 embracing that that feminine side um really changed
00:06:04 --> 00:06:06 for me it was so much fun and I remember it was
00:06:06 --> 00:06:08 like one of the things I regretted like I was
00:06:08 --> 00:06:10 dreading the most the whole competition like
00:06:10 --> 00:06:13 every time it was time to practice walking in
00:06:13 --> 00:06:15 heels I was like no please don't make me do it
00:06:15 --> 00:06:18 anymore but now it's one of my my favorite things
00:06:18 --> 00:06:21 about the competition because I now I can wear
00:06:21 --> 00:06:23 heels whenever I want and I don't feel like I'm
00:06:23 --> 00:06:25 going to fall on my face in front of everyone
00:06:25 --> 00:06:27 and just that boast of confidence that it's like
00:06:27 --> 00:06:32 yeah I can do that great What belief about your
00:06:32 --> 00:06:38 body or worth changed the most? Definitely my
00:06:38 --> 00:06:42 worth. I really struggled. I was in a car accident
00:06:42 --> 00:06:47 about two years ago. And I hit a semi truck on
00:06:47 --> 00:06:51 the highway. And, you know, I struggled with
00:06:51 --> 00:06:53 a lot of guilty feelings. A girl around my age
00:06:53 --> 00:06:56 hit. a semi truck on the same exact route and
00:06:56 --> 00:07:00 she was not so lucky to walk away with her life
00:07:00 --> 00:07:03 as I was. And I felt guilty about that and kind
00:07:03 --> 00:07:05 of like, why, why is the world keeping me here?
00:07:06 --> 00:07:11 Um, and so I felt like my worth, I, I, I really
00:07:11 --> 00:07:14 struggled with my worth. I struggled with why,
00:07:14 --> 00:07:16 why did I deserve this? And someone else didn't.
00:07:17 --> 00:07:20 Um, and that's how I was kind of walking through
00:07:20 --> 00:07:22 life until I found the Miss Fuller woman competition.
00:07:23 --> 00:07:27 And it opened my mind to I'm here so that I can
00:07:27 --> 00:07:30 make an impact. I'm here so that I can talk to
00:07:30 --> 00:07:33 young girls about body image and say, like, it
00:07:33 --> 00:07:36 wasn't easy for me growing up. It wasn't a cakewalk.
00:07:36 --> 00:07:39 It wasn't I wasn't the skinny girl. I wasn't
00:07:39 --> 00:07:42 the short girl. There's always something wrong
00:07:42 --> 00:07:44 with your appearance in someone else's eyes.
00:07:44 --> 00:07:46 And when you learn to accept that the only person's
00:07:46 --> 00:07:49 opinion that matters is your own, it makes life
00:07:49 --> 00:07:57 a whole lot easier. Yeah, for sure. Well, I'm
00:07:57 --> 00:08:00 glad that you survived that. Did you have to
00:08:00 --> 00:08:03 go to the hospital and was it a long recovery
00:08:03 --> 00:08:07 or was it like a walk away thing? No, so I actually
00:08:07 --> 00:08:10 ended up having a TBI, so a traumatic brain injury.
00:08:11 --> 00:08:14 And yeah, I struggled with that for the past
00:08:14 --> 00:08:16 year. And kind of when I went into the Miss Fuller
00:08:16 --> 00:08:18 Woman competition, I was still kind of struggling
00:08:18 --> 00:08:21 with that. I was waiting to see doctors and kind
00:08:21 --> 00:08:24 of not knowing where my life was heading. But
00:08:24 --> 00:08:27 through the Miss Fuller Woman competition, I
00:08:27 --> 00:08:30 honestly found just peace in doing what I could.
00:08:31 --> 00:08:33 So, you know, I wasn't able to go back to work
00:08:33 --> 00:08:39 until... about two months ago. But the Miss Fuller
00:08:39 --> 00:08:41 Woman competition gave me a reason to go out
00:08:41 --> 00:08:43 of the house even when I didn't feel like it.
00:08:44 --> 00:08:48 They really, they comforted me and catered to
00:08:48 --> 00:08:52 my needs and to a point where I really valued
00:08:52 --> 00:08:55 being able to do these things despite having
00:08:55 --> 00:08:59 my TBI. it proved to me that this wasn't something
00:08:59 --> 00:09:01 that was going to hold me back for the rest of
00:09:01 --> 00:09:03 my life, that I could keep going with it. It
00:09:03 --> 00:09:05 wasn't something that was a death sentence. I
00:09:05 --> 00:09:08 wasn't going to be, you know, and I'm really
00:09:08 --> 00:09:11 grateful for the Miss Fuller Woman competition
00:09:11 --> 00:09:14 for showing me that I wasn't, this wasn't, this
00:09:14 --> 00:09:16 wasn't it. It wasn't done. I wasn't done. I'm
00:09:16 --> 00:09:18 going to keep moving in this world and I'm going
00:09:18 --> 00:09:21 to keep making a difference. Yeah, you sure are.
00:09:21 --> 00:09:24 And now we'll take time for a commercial break.
00:09:25 --> 00:09:29 Welcome back. What real changes have happened
00:09:29 --> 00:09:33 since winning with work, confidence, relationships,
00:09:33 --> 00:09:39 or daily life? Definitely I can say relationship
00:09:39 --> 00:09:44 -wise, friendships. I used to be the quiet girl,
00:09:44 --> 00:09:48 the one that kind of... wouldn't express her
00:09:48 --> 00:09:50 opinions, wouldn't tell what she loved, wasn't
00:09:50 --> 00:09:52 passionate. I kind of was the girl that would
00:09:52 --> 00:09:55 put on a mask and form to whatever everyone around
00:09:55 --> 00:10:00 me was doing. And in the past year, I've really
00:10:00 --> 00:10:04 realized that I like what I like and I shouldn't
00:10:04 --> 00:10:06 change what I like because of the people around
00:10:06 --> 00:10:11 me. And some of my friends, they used to make
00:10:11 --> 00:10:14 fun of me for liking Taylor Swift, which is the
00:10:14 --> 00:10:16 silliest thing. But I always used to back into
00:10:16 --> 00:10:18 a corner and be like, oh, yeah, you're right.
00:10:18 --> 00:10:20 I don't like Taylor Swift. I was so silly of
00:10:20 --> 00:10:23 me. Why would I say that? And now I'm just really
00:10:23 --> 00:10:26 learning that. So what if I like Taylor Swift?
00:10:28 --> 00:10:31 And I really defend myself more. I hold myself
00:10:31 --> 00:10:34 to a higher on a higher pedestal than I used
00:10:34 --> 00:10:36 to. I used to think that I was below everyone.
00:10:36 --> 00:10:39 And now I'm just realizing that I'm not better
00:10:39 --> 00:10:41 than anyone, but I'm definitely on the same level
00:10:41 --> 00:10:45 as a lot of people. And so. Just holding myself
00:10:45 --> 00:10:48 in the confidence that I know who I am and no
00:10:48 --> 00:10:49 one's opinion of me is going to change. That
00:10:49 --> 00:10:52 has definitely changed in me. Well, that's great
00:10:52 --> 00:10:55 because everyone has their own way of doing things
00:10:55 --> 00:10:58 and their way of thinking. And just because one
00:10:58 --> 00:11:00 person thinks differently doesn't mean that they're
00:11:00 --> 00:11:05 not right. You know, everyone has the right to
00:11:05 --> 00:11:08 have their own voice, right? On what they prefer
00:11:08 --> 00:11:13 in life. And that's just the way the world is,
00:11:13 --> 00:11:19 right? Okay, so describe a moment you felt powerful
00:11:19 --> 00:11:25 in your body. It was the night before the Miss
00:11:25 --> 00:11:30 Fuller Woman competition. And my fellow contestants
00:11:30 --> 00:11:33 and I, we had gone to see the space for the first
00:11:33 --> 00:11:35 time. So we hadn't seen the stage we were walking
00:11:35 --> 00:11:37 on. We hadn't seen like anything and we had gone.
00:11:40 --> 00:11:42 It was kind of like dress rehearsal but not dress
00:11:42 --> 00:11:43 rehearsal, just being able to feel the stage
00:11:43 --> 00:11:46 because when you're walking in heels on a stage
00:11:46 --> 00:11:48 that you've never walked on before, it's really,
00:11:48 --> 00:11:51 really nerve -wracking. And I had kind of made
00:11:51 --> 00:11:53 the decision that I was going to put on my swimsuit
00:11:53 --> 00:11:55 because that's what I was scared of the most.
00:11:55 --> 00:11:58 I was so scared to walk on a stage in front of
00:11:58 --> 00:12:00 people in a bathing suit because I am the kind
00:12:00 --> 00:12:03 of girl that, like, I wear cover -ups at the
00:12:03 --> 00:12:05 beach. I'll wear T -shirts when I go swimming.
00:12:05 --> 00:12:07 Like, I'm not one to really show my body like
00:12:07 --> 00:12:12 that. And I'll never forget, I was so nervous
00:12:12 --> 00:12:13 about it that I was like, I'm just going to do
00:12:13 --> 00:12:15 it so it doesn't feel like as big of a deal when
00:12:15 --> 00:12:20 I do it tomorrow. And I stepped on the stage
00:12:20 --> 00:12:23 for the first time and all of my fellow contestants,
00:12:24 --> 00:12:27 Melissa, Veroni, Prince, Georgia, everyone who
00:12:27 --> 00:12:29 was there, they immediately stopped and just
00:12:29 --> 00:12:32 started cheering for me. And it really changed
00:12:32 --> 00:12:36 for me because I was so scared of people telling
00:12:36 --> 00:12:39 me that, you know, Plus -sized women aren't supposed
00:12:39 --> 00:12:41 to wear bikinis. Plus -sized women aren't supposed
00:12:41 --> 00:12:43 to do this. They're supposed to wear this. You
00:12:43 --> 00:12:47 hear that so often in this world. And for me
00:12:47 --> 00:12:49 just to have that moment where I stepped on a
00:12:49 --> 00:12:51 stage and I had everyone in the room cheering
00:12:51 --> 00:12:55 for me, it changed how I looked on my body, like,
00:12:55 --> 00:13:00 drastically. And it was powerful. I felt powerful.
00:13:00 --> 00:13:02 I felt like there was nothing in the world that
00:13:02 --> 00:13:06 could stop me in that moment. That's great. Yeah,
00:13:07 --> 00:13:11 because... You know, I've been on holidays down
00:13:11 --> 00:13:17 south and I've seen very large women and some
00:13:17 --> 00:13:21 of them were bathing naked and they felt very
00:13:21 --> 00:13:24 comfortable with themselves. So, you know, that
00:13:24 --> 00:13:28 was something to see. You know, everyone, they
00:13:28 --> 00:13:30 didn't care what anybody thought of them. They
00:13:30 --> 00:13:32 were just happy to be able to bathe in the sun.
00:13:34 --> 00:13:37 A hundred percent. I heard I had a story once
00:13:37 --> 00:13:41 that like there was a woman and she really it
00:13:41 --> 00:13:43 really resonated with me because she was talking
00:13:43 --> 00:13:47 about playing in the pool with her kids. And
00:13:47 --> 00:13:51 she had said, my kids aren't going to remember
00:13:51 --> 00:13:53 whether mom wore a bikini or a swimsuit in the
00:13:53 --> 00:13:54 pool, but they are going to remember that mom
00:13:54 --> 00:13:57 got in the pool with them. And that really just
00:13:57 --> 00:13:58 sat with me because it's like no one's going
00:13:58 --> 00:14:00 to remember what swimsuit you wear, but they
00:14:00 --> 00:14:02 are going to remember that you had fun with them.
00:14:03 --> 00:14:10 Definitely. Yeah. Yeah. What stereotype do you
00:14:10 --> 00:14:17 love breaking? Definitely the stereotype that
00:14:17 --> 00:14:22 a larger woman can't do things. You know, I was
00:14:22 --> 00:14:25 told, oh, you'll never be able to walk a stage.
00:14:25 --> 00:14:29 I did it. Oh, you'll never be able to. I really
00:14:29 --> 00:14:32 want to become a radiologist, and I've been told
00:14:32 --> 00:14:34 multiple times by people that it will never happen.
00:14:35 --> 00:14:39 And I will break that stereotype. Just because
00:14:39 --> 00:14:43 I am curvier doesn't mean that I am any less
00:14:43 --> 00:14:47 willing to be in the workforce, any less willing
00:14:47 --> 00:14:51 to be who I am. Yeah, I've heard stuff about
00:14:51 --> 00:14:53 my body my whole life. I've been told I can't
00:14:53 --> 00:14:56 do stuff because of it. And continuing to break
00:14:56 --> 00:14:58 those stereotypes every day is a win in my books.
00:15:00 --> 00:15:02 It's terrible people would tell you that. It's
00:15:02 --> 00:15:04 not about what you look like. It's about what
00:15:04 --> 00:15:09 you know. What message do you want future women
00:15:09 --> 00:15:14 to hear? That if there's anything that scares
00:15:14 --> 00:15:20 you, just do it. I lived in this constant bubble
00:15:20 --> 00:15:24 of what -ifs. I'm a very anxious person. And
00:15:24 --> 00:15:27 I've constantly lived in a bubble of what -ifs.
00:15:27 --> 00:15:30 And instead of saying, you know, what if it crashes
00:15:30 --> 00:15:33 and burns? What if I don't win? What if I've
00:15:33 --> 00:15:35 started to challenge myself to say, What's the
00:15:35 --> 00:15:39 worst that can happen? And that's really changed
00:15:39 --> 00:15:42 my perspective. Like, oh, I need to ask someone
00:15:42 --> 00:15:44 this. What's the worst that they can say no?
00:15:45 --> 00:15:47 Okay, I joined the Miss Fuller Woman competition.
00:15:47 --> 00:15:49 What's the worst thing that can happen? I couldn't
00:15:49 --> 00:15:52 win. Is that going to change my life forever?
00:15:52 --> 00:15:55 Is it going to permanently impact me that I won't
00:15:55 --> 00:15:58 be able to move on? No. So why am I not doing
00:15:58 --> 00:16:02 it? Challenge your what -ifs. Challenge yourself.
00:16:02 --> 00:16:05 If something scares you, it'll probably be one
00:16:05 --> 00:16:06 of the best things of your life because you grow
00:16:06 --> 00:16:09 through fear. You grow through everything that
00:16:09 --> 00:16:13 pushes you back. You grow through. Well, yeah,
00:16:13 --> 00:16:15 because the competition is quite a growing experience,
00:16:16 --> 00:16:20 isn't it? It definitely is. Would you recommend
00:16:20 --> 00:16:23 anybody do something like it? A hundred percent.
00:16:24 --> 00:16:27 Went into the competition kind of being like,
00:16:27 --> 00:16:29 well, I'll do it and nothing's going to come
00:16:29 --> 00:16:32 of it and I'll move on with my life. And little
00:16:32 --> 00:16:34 did I know I'd be sitting here today as the Miss
00:16:34 --> 00:16:38 Fuller Woman Queen 2025. Wearing your crown.
00:16:39 --> 00:16:42 Wearing my crown, yes. Wearing it quite proudly
00:16:42 --> 00:16:45 as well, right? Yes. Thank you for wearing your
00:16:45 --> 00:16:48 crown. I was happy to see that. Oh, yes, of course.
00:16:49 --> 00:16:51 And now we'll take time for a commercial break.
00:16:52 --> 00:16:56 Welcome back. what piece of wisdom would you
00:16:56 --> 00:17:00 give to the quiet girl watching who doesn't think
00:17:00 --> 00:17:05 she could ever do this you can do anything you
00:17:05 --> 00:17:07 put your mind to your worth is not dependent
00:17:07 --> 00:17:11 on anything but yourself if you believe you can
00:17:11 --> 00:17:14 do something and you go out and you give it your
00:17:14 --> 00:17:18 all even if you don't If you fail, even if it
00:17:18 --> 00:17:20 doesn't end up how you like, you're going to
00:17:20 --> 00:17:22 grow from that experience. One of my favorite
00:17:22 --> 00:17:25 quotes is, everything you lose is a step you
00:17:25 --> 00:17:29 take because losses in life aren't the end. You
00:17:29 --> 00:17:31 grow from them, you learn from them, and you
00:17:31 --> 00:17:35 come back stronger. Definitely, definitely. You
00:17:35 --> 00:17:42 got to keep trying. Okay, Holly, you watched
00:17:42 --> 00:17:44 the Miss Fuller Women competition and then joined
00:17:44 --> 00:17:47 the team. What moved you to step forward and
00:17:47 --> 00:17:53 serve? As a child, I watched all the pageants.
00:17:53 --> 00:17:55 I watched the Miss America pageant. I watched
00:17:55 --> 00:18:01 the Miss Universe pageant. And as a fuller child,
00:18:01 --> 00:18:06 I guess, I loved the idea, but never ever thought
00:18:06 --> 00:18:08 that that would be something that I could do.
00:18:08 --> 00:18:14 So when I watched Hannah get her crown and it
00:18:14 --> 00:18:18 was, To watch the event live was pretty, it was
00:18:18 --> 00:18:23 amazing. And it just, it made me feel good. It
00:18:23 --> 00:18:31 made me feel like as like the child version of
00:18:31 --> 00:18:36 me would be able to do something like that. And
00:18:36 --> 00:18:42 just having the space for the younger version
00:18:42 --> 00:18:48 of me to be able to witness something like this
00:18:48 --> 00:18:52 was amazing because it's like beauty standards
00:18:52 --> 00:18:56 are not what they should be and right we can
00:18:56 --> 00:18:59 all be beautiful and it doesn't matter our size
00:18:59 --> 00:19:04 and now there is a place that helps like grow
00:19:04 --> 00:19:09 that for people so people can be can be authentically
00:19:09 --> 00:19:12 themselves without the fear of the judgment and
00:19:12 --> 00:19:15 everything that's behind it Yeah, yeah, definitely.
00:19:16 --> 00:19:19 That's what I was impressed about hearing it.
00:19:19 --> 00:19:23 You know, I actually interviewed another model
00:19:23 --> 00:19:26 who was a pageant winner and she didn't know
00:19:26 --> 00:19:29 about any pageants that were for oversized women.
00:19:30 --> 00:19:36 And I did. So that's why I wanted to do this.
00:19:38 --> 00:19:42 As a Plexus ambassador, how do you help women
00:19:42 --> 00:19:46 build confidence through health, gut care, energy
00:19:46 --> 00:19:52 and self -love? Like, really, everything's all
00:19:52 --> 00:19:54 kind of connected. If you're feeling a little
00:19:54 --> 00:19:58 crummy, if you've got gut issues, stomach issues,
00:19:58 --> 00:20:01 that isn't going to help you feel very confident
00:20:01 --> 00:20:04 at all. So it's like if I can help people with
00:20:04 --> 00:20:08 their gut issues, you know. with more energy,
00:20:08 --> 00:20:11 with more sleep, with like just help dealing
00:20:11 --> 00:20:13 with the root causes of many of the issues that
00:20:13 --> 00:20:15 we struggle with. If I can help you deal with
00:20:15 --> 00:20:17 that, you're going to feel better. And then you
00:20:17 --> 00:20:20 can move forward. You can just feel more confident.
00:20:20 --> 00:20:22 You can move through the room without having
00:20:22 --> 00:20:25 to worry about, you know, bloating and how you're
00:20:25 --> 00:20:30 feeling and, you know. And it's, yeah, about
00:20:30 --> 00:20:31 getting to the root cause of the issues. And
00:20:31 --> 00:20:34 then, yeah, as we feel better, then our confidence
00:20:34 --> 00:20:37 can grow because we won't feel like we need to
00:20:37 --> 00:20:38 shrink down and hide because we're not feeling
00:20:38 --> 00:20:43 good. Well, it's been proven that the gut -mind
00:20:43 --> 00:20:47 connection is very strong. Absolutely. Absolutely
00:20:47 --> 00:20:50 it is. It's like, yeah, if your gut's happy,
00:20:50 --> 00:20:53 your brain's happy, if your brain's happy, then
00:20:53 --> 00:20:57 you're happy, right? You can just... Feel free
00:20:57 --> 00:21:02 to move authentically through life because you're
00:21:02 --> 00:21:06 not worried about how you're feeling. Definitely.
00:21:07 --> 00:21:09 What growth have you witnessed in contestants
00:21:09 --> 00:21:12 or committee members that shows this competition
00:21:12 --> 00:21:16 matters? I am a fairly new committee member.
00:21:17 --> 00:21:20 And there's a few others that had to join alongside
00:21:20 --> 00:21:22 of me. And I don't know, personally, it's like
00:21:22 --> 00:21:28 it's a space for me to be me. I have done a lot
00:21:28 --> 00:21:30 of personal growth over the last couple of years.
00:21:30 --> 00:21:35 I'm navigating like who I am and what I want
00:21:35 --> 00:21:39 to do with my life. And this gives me a space
00:21:39 --> 00:21:43 to just be me. Like I'm a little bit of a goofball
00:21:43 --> 00:21:46 and they embrace that, right? Like they don't
00:21:46 --> 00:21:48 shy away. They don't think I'm too much. They
00:21:48 --> 00:21:51 don't like, yeah, they just embrace me and encourage
00:21:51 --> 00:21:54 me to just be authentically me. It doesn't matter
00:21:54 --> 00:22:03 how. how crazy it is. Yeah. Okay, this question
00:22:03 --> 00:22:06 will go to both of you. You can each take a turn
00:22:06 --> 00:22:10 at it, okay? If every woman listening today carried
00:22:10 --> 00:22:16 one truth forward, what should it be? Hannah?
00:22:17 --> 00:22:20 This kind of actually ties back into my interview
00:22:20 --> 00:22:23 question at the pageant. And my interview question
00:22:23 --> 00:22:26 was, what do you wish young girls would learn?
00:22:26 --> 00:22:29 Or like, what's one thing that you wish young
00:22:29 --> 00:22:32 girls would hear from a young age? And I think
00:22:32 --> 00:22:35 it... It really pertains to every woman that
00:22:35 --> 00:22:37 your worth doesn't matter on your pant size.
00:22:37 --> 00:22:41 I'm not walking around and being like, oh, she's
00:22:41 --> 00:22:44 a size four. She must have a lot of worth. It
00:22:44 --> 00:22:47 doesn't matter your pant size. Everything you
00:22:47 --> 00:22:49 do and everything you are is what makes you beautiful.
00:22:51 --> 00:22:57 Definitely. Holly? Mine's also going back to
00:22:57 --> 00:23:02 your self -worth. I one day realized that I was
00:23:02 --> 00:23:05 worthy of so much more than I was allowing myself.
00:23:05 --> 00:23:13 And I want, I just wanted to do better for me.
00:23:14 --> 00:23:18 And now it's just like, once you just realize
00:23:18 --> 00:23:21 that you're worthy, you're worthy of anything
00:23:21 --> 00:23:26 and everything that you desire, anything is possible.
00:23:26 --> 00:23:30 But it all starts with. realizing that you're
00:23:30 --> 00:23:35 worthy of it all. For sure. Is there an age restriction
00:23:35 --> 00:23:40 with this competition? I believe you're supposed
00:23:40 --> 00:23:45 to be 18 plus to join it. And what's the higher
00:23:45 --> 00:23:49 end? There's no limit? No, no limit. Just 18
00:23:49 --> 00:23:52 plus. That's amazing. That's a wide category
00:23:52 --> 00:23:56 of women there. Yes, I was our youngest at I
00:23:56 --> 00:24:00 was 20. four when I joined the Miss Fuller Woman
00:24:00 --> 00:24:05 competition and everyone else was older than
00:24:05 --> 00:24:08 me so I don't know how old they were but older
00:24:08 --> 00:24:12 than me but I was the baby so well that's nice
00:24:12 --> 00:24:15 that they've opened it up to such a wide category
00:24:15 --> 00:24:18 of people you know it gives everybody a chance
00:24:18 --> 00:24:22 to grow even you know through just being in the
00:24:22 --> 00:24:28 competition okay well um Thank you both for joining
00:24:28 --> 00:24:33 me. And it's been very nice hearing everything
00:24:33 --> 00:24:36 about this competition and how you've grown from
00:24:36 --> 00:24:41 it. And I'm happy that I can share it with people.
