[00:00:00] Hey guys, Corey Poirier here. Welcome to BluTalks and I hope you enjoy this video.

[00:00:32] What if you're not just experiencing life? What if you're participating in creating it? These have been the kind of questions I've been asking since I was a little girl. I grew up in the 1970s in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I was extremely shy and quiet, very introspective. I loved to read. One of my favorite pastimes was to lie on the grass in our

[00:00:57] front yard and gaze up into the sky. I used to think, what's out there? And do I come from there? And what is it that keeps my body alive and moving and breathing? I kept those curiosities inside of me and years went by. I became a school teacher. I was always reading, always looking for the answers

[00:01:20] to the bigger questions in life. Then in 2003, I read the book The Field by Lynn McTaggart. Have any of you read it? That book is a series of scientific experiments that discuss the invisible web of energy that connects us all to each other and to the universe. But I still remember the flight from Virginia to Ohio, reading that book sitting next to my husband, elbowing him and saying,

[00:01:49] oh my gosh, listen to this, listen to this. It was fascinating to me. But reading that book just led to more questions. Questions about the universe, metaphysics, consciousness, energy, and who we all really are. After two decades of studying with masterful teachers and my own personal experiences, I've come to an understanding. I think we spend so much of our life trying to figure out who we are,

[00:02:19] looking outside of ourselves for the answers. What if we aren't disconnected? What if we're participating in something bigger? I believe we're here to remember who we are and to let life move through us. Quantum science is about the field of energy and possibility that's underneath solid matter.

[00:02:43] And one of the greatest discoveries of quantum science is that observation matters. That the observer is not separate from that which is observed. Now, I'm not a quantum scientist, but I was a pretty good fifth grade teacher. So I'm going to explain it to you the way I would if I were still teaching. We are a stream.

[00:03:06] We are each a stream of consciousness flowing from the cosmos. That sky I used to look up into and wonder, where did I come from there? I do. And so do you. And each of us is a stream of light and love. That stream animates our physical body. You can call it consciousness. You can call it light. You could call it God. You could

[00:03:32] call it the universe. But it is what is the source of our being. The source of our being alive and the source of our life. Here's a way to think about it. Imagine that your physical body is a movie projector. And inside of your movie projector is your film, all the stuff of life, the way you think about life, the way you think

[00:03:56] about yourself, the way you believe the world is and the way others even think. We hold it all. Our beliefs, our emotions. We hold it all inside this projector. And here comes this divine light, pure possibility. It flows right through your projector, is filtered out by the stuff that you're holding onto in here.

[00:04:19] And it's projected out onto a movie screen that is the life that you are walking into. We are each creating our own movie. In bioenergetics, we call it the master system. You may be familiar with the toric field. You're streaming. Consciousness is streaming through a body. It's landing in the earth. It's rising. And it's fountaining around. And it's flowing. Every living thing has a toric field.

[00:04:49] An apple, a tree. And you are a toric field. And your life is flowing in direct reflection to your energy flow. So let me use a story from my own life to make this make sense. I was a very self-conscious, insecure young woman. I lacked confidence, compared myself to others, really felt like I was unworthy. Who am I to be living my dreams or having the life that I desired?

[00:05:19] And I held those feelings right here in my solar plexus. It's part of you. It's an energy center within you. I held the feelings of insecurity and uncertainty and am I ever going to have the life that I want? As my stream of consciousness and my divine light was flowing through me and out into my life, it was picking up all that gunk, all that information. And so I was projecting that out into

[00:05:45] the world. And then I was walking into a life of insecurity and uncertainty. I was walking into a life where I compared myself to others and never thought that I was good enough. That life reflects back to us. This movie that you're living is a reflection. And so until we clean up the gunk in our projector, we can't shift our life.

[00:06:10] It kind of reminds me of the movie Groundhog Day with Bill Murray. He's living the same thing day in and day out. And I feel like so much of us are doing that. I was doing that. Feeling the same way, responding the same way, reacting the same way to life every day. And so I continued to experience those same experiences, lacking confidence, lacking security. Think about it this way.

[00:06:36] If you're as old as me, you might remember the reel-to-reel movies in school. I remember being in science class. The teacher puts one reel on the projector. She takes the film and she feeds it through the other reel and then turns on the projector and we watch the movie. You might remember that. If you're not as old as me, maybe you've seen it in the movies. But I also remember sitting in science class watching the movie and suddenly the projector goes click, click, click, and the frame on

[00:07:05] the screen is repeating over and over again. The whole class laughs. The teacher has to turn on the lights. Then she has to take that film and feed it a little beyond that splice or that cut in order for the movie to keep flowing. Before she can show that movie to the next period class, she has to repair that little piece of movie. She has to tape it or make it so that it's able to go through the reel more smoothly.

[00:07:31] The same thing happens to us. We get stuck. We get places inside of us where we're stuck. Maybe feelings of lack, feelings of insecurity, even health issues that we get stuck on. And so as the pure light is flowing through us and out into our life, it continually gets stuck in that same place. But it can be fixed. We can change it. How do we do that? I'm going to lead you something that I'd like

[00:07:59] you to try. Close your eyes, if you would, for just a moment. And take a breath. Breathe into your belly and just settle in. Notice how it feels in your body right now. Now I'd like you to think about something in your life that feels stuck. Maybe it's a challenge or an obstacle, something you would love to see

[00:08:23] happen differently. And as you think about it, I'd like you to notice if there's any place in your body that feels activated. You might feel a section in your gut, or you might feel a squeeze in your heart. Or what many of my clients say is, Jen, I don't feel anything. I just can't get out of my head. Wherever you feel it, I invite you to squeeze it back gently on the inside. Like you're giving it a

[00:08:49] little hug, saying, oh, I hear you. Here I come. If it's behind your eyes and your head, you can roll your eyes up and it'll give that attention to that space. Now I invite you to take a breath as if you're breathing in from above your head right into the activated place. And when you exhale, send it down and into the earth. Then draw the next breath right up from the earth. Just make it up if

[00:09:16] that seems strange. Breathe it into the activated place. And exhale it up and out the crown of your head. And notice for just a moment how that feels. And then open your eyes. What you did was you drew more light into that place in your body. You let that place know, hey, I hear you. There's some gunk in there. I'm coming in. My teacher says your soul speaks to your body and your body speaks to your

[00:09:45] mind. But your mind is so busy out there, it's not paying any attention. When you bring the mind into the body, you bring your awareness into the body. And energy follows thought. We know that. Light follows your mind into the body. And then you become more light and less matter. There's a pretty popular spiritual teacher that says that often that we should be more light and less matter. We should be

[00:10:12] bringing more light into our body. And I agree with him. I like to say, when you're more light and less matter, the less things matter. That light is creative essence. It's consciousness. And consciousness brings energy into form. So if there's something out there in your life that you want to shift or change,

[00:10:35] you need to bring your mind inside. Our universe is reflective. Maybe you've heard that term. We live in a reflective universe. That means energy and thoughts and feelings about life are flowing to you and out onto your movie screen. And the universe is reflecting back whatever it is that's going on in here. Now think about this. If you walked up to a mirror and you looked in the mirror and you were

[00:11:00] frowning and you looked at your reflection and said, hey, smile. Hey, I said smile. The reflection is not going to smile until you smile. That's exactly how life works. Everything starts within us. And whether you know it or not, you are always creating. Thoughts and feelings are

[00:11:23] moving through you constantly. But you know, most of us, I think, are creating unconsciously. It's like we're extras in our movie instead of the executive producer or the star of the show. So how do you change your movie? Well, you start by being aware of your thoughts, being aware of whether you're focusing on worst case scenarios or focusing on your dreams. Because you are always imagining. When you

[00:11:52] wake up in the morning, you're imagining. When you make the coffee, you're imagining. Thinking is imagination. Driving from point A to point B, your mind is imagining. And what you're actually doing is rehearsing for what's coming next in your life. This field that we live in, it's infinite. It's infinite

[00:12:16] possibility. This stream that flows through you, there are no limits to it. So let's try this again. I invite you to close your eyes again for a moment. And this time, I invite you to think about a dream, a desire, something you would love to experience in this lifetime. Knowing that the universe is limitless, I say go big. Now as you think about this dream, I want you to do the same thing and notice where your body

[00:12:43] responds or reacts to that thought. It might feel tight, a squeeze like, ooh, that's too big for me. That's not going to happen. It might feel expansive and spacious. Wherever you feel it, I invite you to take that same breath from above your head, draw that stream of light right into the place you feel it. Exhale and drop it in

[00:13:06] the earth. And then draw the breath from the earth up into that space. And exhale up and out the crown of your head. And you can open your eyes. And just notice how that feels. I would encourage you to do that lying in bed at night. Don't lie in bed and think about everything that went wrong today or all that you're worried about tomorrow. Instead, start thinking about your dreams, the possibilities,

[00:13:37] and then run them through the projector so you start realizing them in your life. Maybe the purpose isn't to control the movie. Maybe the purpose is just to clean the projector, get rid of the gunk, the insecurities, the uncertainties, and allow the light, the divine stream that you are, to flow through

[00:13:58] you. That divine stream will carry you into your life. So tonight and tomorrow and every day after that, when you're in worst case scenario-ing, finding yourself worrying, I invite you to bring your mind back. Gather your light. Pay attention inside of you. Remembering that life isn't happening to you. It's

[00:14:22] happening through you. Fifty years ago today, I was that little girl staring into the sky wondering, do I come from there? And after decades of searching, studying, hundreds of client sessions, I don't claim to know all of the answers. But I do know this. There's something extraordinary moving through each of us. It's the source of our being and it's the source of the life we are creating. It's creative,

[00:14:52] intelligent, and loving. I hope you got a glimpse of that today.
